OMG. I seldom ever write reviews, but this place deserves a big shout out. I'm from Los Angeles, lived in San Diego been to Mexico many times. I was in the area for business with a co worker who also lived in San Diego and we were looking for a quick lunch before getting back on the road. We came across this place showing 4.5 stars... Being skeptical, but not wanting to miss a chance to experience a 4.5er, we decided to give them a try. Im gonna rate them for the food and punctuality with the food, as they are more of a to go and drive they business. There are 2 lunch tables outside with a makeshift canopy if you want to eat there. We went to the drive thru and ordered the Beef Steak Tornado Burrito (Angus Steak, fries, guacamole, pico de Gallo, and salsa) and the Carne Asada Burrito. It took about 5 min and the food came piping hot. Both were awesome! I can honestly say that it was one of the best burritos that I have had, at only $6. The Tornado had a nicely marinated generous portion of quality beef. Soft succulent and juicy while seasoned perfectly. The meat was seared nicely as I noticed the char on the pieces. The guacamole and pico de gallo were fresh and matched well with the fries and beef. The fries were nice and crispy outside and soft inside, while the cheese melted gloriously over all the components together. I had a piece of the regular Carne Asada burrito, standard with salsa, cheese, beans pico de gallo. It was very good as well. We both notice how fresh and how quality the ingredients were for both. As advertised on their banner, home made and quick. The place is small and limited with manpower so I advise to be patient if there is a line or ordering a lot of food. Each dish looks to be prepared as ordered. It's worth the wait. After eating, I had to go back to tell them how pleasantly surprised I was with the food. The young owner/cook humbly said "Thank you for your kind words, I hope it tasted just like home." It did, and probably better than most places I've eaten at. I am truly jealous of Florida, that I have had to travel 3500 miles on a business trip from Los Angeles to find such a gem. Local Yelpers, a big thank you!! But please help this place going as I want to come back and eat there again when I go back one day!

Im soooo very surprised by the reviews and wonder if these people have truly had real authentic mexican food. There was nothing that I really enjoyed about this meal. The tortillas were decent but the tacos (beef and chicken) lacked any flavor or seasoning and so did the rice. Maybe I went on an off day?

After 2 1/2 years of searching a good Mexican restaurant that makes a decent Burrito. It has refried bean, hot sauce, chile verde on request. The service was quick and prices nothing over 8 bucks( Shrimp). I was told it had a quick following and lines can be long at times. SSSOOOOO much better than SOB Taco Bel. It has a drive thru window, you can order a head plus covered outdoor seating. My burrito had refried beans, rice calantro, and LOTS of pork mmm good.

Pretty good food for a place with a drive thru and walk up window! I enjoy the defriend beans but I wasn't crazy about my chicken fajitas as the chicken wasn't cooked to my liking. However, we went late at night and the fact that the staff was so nice and friendly considering it was 10pm was awesome.

Magnificent!!! Goodness the food was to die for, the service was great. They were so patient and not mention helpful. My son is so pick and they took the time to separate and mix together certain things for him, that I thank you again for!! If you're ever in the area I recommend stopping by, and if you're not drive over and order some food and relax outside on the picnic tables while listening to salsa music on the overhead.... Will return very soon!!! Also did I mention its so cheap and portions are HUGE

Amazing Mexican food. So happy this place exists, and the wife teaches next door so I get it anytime I want. I have not had a bad bite of food yet. In fact, every bite has been excellent. Grew up in a BIG Mexican family, this place brings me home!

Enchilada combo was a sweet deal. The enchilada flavor is complex and tasty. The combo included refined beans, rice, and some fresh pico de gallo. Soda with combo was large in insulated cup unfortunately for the environment. The steak and egg burrito was good, but not the best value.

Truly fantastically awesome Mexican food. It was fresh hot and fast . I didn't know what I wanted to order. He made a recommendation for fajitas and I had no regrets. One portion was enough for two people easily. This place now becomes my go-to for Mexican food.

I have been driving by this place for several months thinking I should stop and try it. Boy did I screw up by not stopping sooner! I am so mad at myself. Their food is fantastic! The sauce on the burrito is great and the fish tacos are authentic. The fish wasn't greasy and the vegetables are fresh. I want to try their desserts next time.

Great food fantastic staff we will be going back very often, reasonable prices and portions are huge, was wishing I had a cold "Margarita" to go with it. I highly recommend this place to everyone. (A Gem in N. Fort Myers) Food & soda or "Horchata's" only no bar or beer take out or outside dining but still worth the time to stop

This is the best Mexican food I have had in a long time. My wife and I usually share the nachos. The Cabeza is fabulous! I love everything about it.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
